Why I Like This Photograph No.7 - Warwickshire Wedding Photographer

Photographs you will treasure, from a day
like no other
Everybody loves looking through old photographs, whether on a smartphone, tablet, or good old fashioned hard copies like prints or even an album of some sort. So I thought I'd restart a blog series that ran last year titled 'Why I like this photograph'. It's always a fun thing to do, and to be honest, every wedding that I photograph will have a few images that stand out in my mind. Granted, there is so much going on over the course of a wedding day, so there are plenty of options available.
The image above was taken last summer during Kate & George's wedding day. Their wedding service took place at Sutton Coldfield in the West Midlands, with the celebrations at the magnificent Cripps Shustoke Barn near Coleshill across the border in Warwickshire. To me, this image tells you many things. It confirms that the wedding day was in the middle of the summer with gorgeous weather and summer colours. Most importantly, it shows that Kate and George were able to share a quiet moment together away from a busy schedule. They both look happy, and it's a natural looking style that many couples like - discreet and unobtrusive photography. Do come back soon for another in this series. Martin.
