The next month will see 'Martin Hemsley Photography' displaying in at least two wedding fayres, with the first being at the Macdonald Ansty Hall Hotel near Coventry this Sunday. I always enjoy attending fayres (or fairs depending on how you think it should be spelt) for many reasons, and look forward to the next one. Last year I displayed twice at Ansty Hall, and they were both well attended by couples and wedding suppliers including other West Midlands and Warwickshire Wedding Photographers. So you could say the pressure is on with couples having the choice of which display table to visit. This time round I have a brand new display item.

Loxley-2

A few days ago saw this 'Glacier Block' delivered to Hemsley Photography Towers. It is made by a company called Loxley Colour, and I had previously seen this different style of table top display at another Wedding Photographer's office over in Birmingham. When I saw his version I made a mental note, and sprang into action two weeks ago with this order. The photo itself featured on a blog post called 'Sally & Roger Just Two' recently, click here for the link into the story behind the image. It is a gorgeous display piece, and one I'm looking forward to showing people at future events. Likewise it will be great to catch up with other suppliers at the weekend, and most importantly meeting couples who will be in the midst of planning for their wedding. It is very interesting listening to people's plans, finding out where they will be getting married, and hearing all about how they are visualising the day.Last year when I spoke to couples, I mentioned a blog post I had written titled 'Choosing a Wedding Photographer'. The reasoning behind this post was far from a hard sell, it was more to help give someone the knowledge on the process that you can go through in selecting your ideal photographer. Because let's face it, there are so many different styles of photography, different personalities, packages, budgets etc etc. If you are interested in reading this article (just updated), here is the link.If you fancy coming along to my first of the summer's Wedding Fayre (or fair!) then please do. To confirm, it is being held at Ansty Hall near Coventry and Rugby on Sunday 8th June, starting at 12.00pm through until 4.00pm. Come say hello, and perhaps get up close and personal with Sally's Wedding Bouquet table display. Feel free to share away on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Google+ by using the social media buttons below. Or even leave a comment. Have a great weekend.
