Sally & Chris - Get To Know You Shoot

Hi everyone, and welcome back to another blog post, this time a few photos from Sally & Chris's 'Get To know You Shoot' from the weekend. I first met them during one of the heat waves last summer, at a venue Open Day. They came to my wedding photography display stand, looked through a couple of album samples, and then struck up a conversation.

They explained to me that they had booked their wedding venue, Hartlebury Castle - over the border from me here in Warwickshire into Worcestershire. This wasn't a venue I was familiar with at the time, so it was great that we met up in Hartlebury firstly to have their 'Get To Know You Shoot' and also for the three of us to walk around the venue and talk through their wedding day.

As is typical for the vast majority of people, they weren't used to being photographed, and understandably felt a little nervous at the start. However we soon eased into the session, I gave them a couple of simple tasks, and off we went. I have to say, they soon relaxed which really shows in these images.
