Day 2 in this week's mini series of 'Reflections' has moved to the Bridal Preparations. The images this week on the blog are those that help complement a collection of photographs from the wedding day. It's where a wedding photographer can show a little bit of creativity as well as banking the all important safe shots. Today's image was taken at 'Illegally Blonde', the Bride's chosen hairdressers here in Leamington Spa.

The thing I love about photographs with reflections, is that your brain has to work a little to figure out what's going on. For me this image works quite well because the viewer is taken into the location, where only a select few people from the wedding day are privileged to attend. Here you have two bridesmaids, and the bride herself (in the grey t-shirt). The other thing I like here is that they are clearly having fun; photos can be dull sometimes without expressions and emotions. Just like yesterday's image, this is far from an award winning photograph, and I'm sure could be technically better. But I feel as though it will be a reminder of great times to the bride in years to come, and it is a nice possible 'filler' image to put in a wedding album. If you enjoyed this short article and missed the first image yesterday in this mini series, click here to link across. Tomorrow's is an interesting one, most people would swear it has been 'photo-shopped' to death, when in fact it's straight from the camera. Do come back and see for yourself. Have a great day everyone.
