Earlier this week I welcomed Sarah & James back to my office to hand over their wedding album. Before clients come and pick up their heirloom, I double check the product for quality control, take a few snaps, and generally admire the album. This one was no different, and I was really proud of it. Sarah & James became husband and wife earlier this summer at their church in Coleshill, they then celebrated at Ansty Hall Hotel in Warwickshire near Coventry. There are many things I love about being a wedding photographer, and looking at albums is a real treat.

However, the real reason I love this part of my work is being able to hand over to couples something that will be part of their legacy. Wedding photography is all about recording the day's event, in a basic summary. Sure, every year or so, the couple will dust off their album and revisit their day with great memories. However, let's think further down the line when perhaps their children, and even grandchildren will look at the historic event in decades to come. There's a thought.

For the record, Sarah & James's album was produced by Graphistudio over in Italy, and is a 'Young Book' album. The presentation box was made with brilliant pink linen, the ribbon in yellow, and the book cover in the white touch material - all reflecting their chosen wedding colour theme. Wish I could keep it for the upcoming wedding fayres this autumn.

Speaking of autumn weddings fayres in 2017, I'll be displaying at the Nailcote Hotel in Warwickshire near Coventry this coming Sunday (10th September). If you fancy coming by to look at more wedding albums, please say hello at my stand. Martin.
