I first met Becky and Karl at a wedding fayre at Ansty Hall Hotel in Warwickshire. Such events are often busy, and it can be tricky having in-depth conversations. So it was nice that they contacted me back after the fayre, and we met up again back at Ansty Hall, which was also to be the venue where they were having their celebrations. Fast forward several months, and the wedding day was upon us. It was a stunning summer's day, sunny and pleasant temperatures.

Becky was getting ready, together with her bridesmaids, in one corner of Ansty Hall - out of sight away from other guests. I took this opportunity to grab a few shots of their preparation, plus a few record shots of Becky's wedding dress and bouquet. It was a fun and relaxed period of the day. Just before Becky was ready to leave for the church, it was time for her Dad to enter the room and see Becky for the first time that day.

Talk about a tear jerker, most people in the room had to quickly reach for a tissue. Then it was time to leave, and take a short walk across to the church called St.James. St James is handily on the edge of the grounds of Ansty Hall, and is a real beauty.

It was such a lovely service, hosted by the friendly Rev Andrew Coleman. To say he delivers both an entertaining, educational and moving sermon would be an understatement. He really enhances this wonderful part of the wedding day. Then it was back to Ansty Hall and the celebrations. A brass band and ice cream trolley were waiting for us, before the speeches and wedding breakfast.

The speeches were fantastic, especially the final one coming from the best man. I love observing people's expressions during this period. And the reactions afterwards were priceless.

It was a really fun day, and great to be shooting at Ansty Hall again. A few weeks after Becky and Karl were given their photos, they gave me a list of the images they wanted in their wedding album. I soon got down to designing it, and a month later they were proud recipients of the GraphiStudio album. Their particular model is called 'Crystal Glance'. I took a few images of their album, you might recognise some of the images.
