Why I Like This Photograph No.5 - Warwickshire Wedding Photography
Last week I posted a photo from Mel & Scott's wedding when I was second shooting for my friend Cathy, it continued with theme of my preferred shooting style for most of the wedding day - discreet and unobtrusive. I wanted to stay with the same wedding this week, and show an image for a slightly different time of the day.
Why I Like This Photograph No.4 - Warwickshire Wedding Photographer
Continuing with this blog series I thought I'd talk about another period of the day that sometimes doesn't get much of a mention, a pre-ceremony drink! Mel & Scott's wedding was across the border in Nottinghamshire, and this time I was second shooting for my friend and fellow wedding photographer Cathy.
Why I Like This Photograph No.3 - Warwickshire Wedding Photography
Following on with this new blog series, I want to show you all another favourite photograph of mine from recent weddings here in Warwickshire. This week's photo comes from the Welcombe Hotel near Stratford-upon-Avon.
Why I Like This Photograph No.2 - Warwickshire Wedding Photographer
Following on from last week's blog post, I wanted to continue to share my passion for wedding photography with another choice in this new series.
Why I Like This Photograph No.1 - Warwickshire Wedding Photography
Like most people, I love going through old photographs. They can be such powerful things especially when they remind you of emotional events, for example weddings. So I thought I'd start a new blog series called 'Why I Like This Photograph'.
Sarah & Tom Sneak Peek - Hampton Lucy and The Welcombe Hotel
September saw the wedding of Sarah & Tom here in Warwickshire. They benefitted from some fantastic late summer sunshine, which enabled them to celebrate their wedding with their guests in perfect conditions. The wedding service took place in the Church of St.Peter and Vincular in Hampton Lucy, followed by the celebrations at the stunning Welcombe Hotel near Stratford-upon-Avon.
Jenny & Paul's Wedding Album From Folio Albums
It was great to see Jenny in the office again yesterday. Just over a month ago Jenny and Paul selected the images for their wedding album, and I designed the layout for their album. The lovely folks of 'Folio Albums' up in Barnsley worked their magic and produced yet another stunning album. Whenever a new album arrives in the office I give each one a quick check before handing them over to clients. In this instance I couldn't resist taking a few photos of their album.
5 Top Wedding Tips
Over the last few months I've very much tried to take a broader look at weddings. As a wedding photographer, it's too easy for me to immerse myself into a creative bubble. Granted, this is where ideas for beautiful crafted images are born, but it's not the be all and end all. So I've stood back from my role, yet looked further into the whole environment of the Bride and Groom's big day including the planning phase beforehand. As a result I'm gradually building a series of 'Top 5 Tips' blog posts that I hope will help Brides and Grooms.
Emma & Ryan Sneak Peek - Ansty Hall Wedding Photography
Hi everybody, this week it is an absolute pleasure to show you Emma & Ryan's Sneak Peek from Ansty Hall here in Warwickshire. I met them last year at the Ansty Hall autumn wedding fayre at my wedding photography display table. We chatted briefly, and then met up a few days later. The plan was to have the whole day at Ansty Hall with a small and intimate wedding in the Drawing Room.
Top 5 Wedding Flower Tips
Following on from a recent post titled 'Top 5 Tips For A Stress-Free Wedding Day', I thought I'd publish another in this Top 5 series - Wedding Flower Tips. Choosing your flowers can be one of the most exciting parts of planning for your wedding day. Visualising your bouquet, and how your venue will be decorated can be a lot of fun. However, there is quite a bit to think about when making your choice rather than relying on what your favourite flower is, and what your colour theme will be on the day. With that in mind, here goes with the Top 5 Tips.
