In the grounds of the Ansty Hall Hotel in Warwickshire stands the unique church of St.James. Rich in history, it has a 13th century chancel and was gradually developed over the centuries. The village of Ansty was mentioned in the 1086 Doomsday Book, where the landowner of the Brinklow area was Lady Godiva at the time that the book was written. St. James Church is a popular wedding location, and it is a fantastic church for wedding photographers to capture gorgeous atmospheric images.St.James Church is only a few paces away from Ansty Hall, which was built in 1678. In the present day Ansty Hall is now a hotel that also hosts wedding services. It is common to have a wedding service at St. James Church before moving across to Ansty Hall for celebrations with your families and friends. One of the three current vicars at St James Church is the unique and welcoming Rev Andrew Coleman. Having recently photographed a wedding at St. James I can confirm the Reverend provides a very special element towards your wedding service. The church is very calming and full of character, a place where your guests will be transfixed by when they first walk inside.
