Stapleford Park - Anna & Marc

A few weeks ago I wrote a blog post about two images from Anna and Marc's wedding titled 'Just Two', it was about two photographs and gave a short description behind each one, see here for the link. This post in a moment will show a few more from their wedding day at Stapleford Park near Melton Mowbray in Leicestershire. I was second shooting for Cathy of Oehlers Photography at this wedding, and although I was given some duties to help out, I was also given plenty of freedom to shoot in an unobtrusive manner. It was great fun taking off my Warwickshire Wedding Photographer hat as I escaped over the border into Leicestershire.

Anna and Marc's wedding day was typical of how couples dream their day to be, ie a gorgeous sunny summers day. Everybody has their own idea about where and how to host their wedding and celebrations. Anna and Marc chose the option of using the one venue all day. So Anna and most of her Bridal Party got ready at Stapleford Park, which was where the service, and also later the celebrations were hosted. Even a surprise fireworks display was enjoyed in the gardens later in the evening.Many thanks to Cathy for asking me to come along to the wedding, it was a fabulous day. Here are just a few images starting from the Bridal Preparations through until and including the fireworks.

During the service I noticed some reflections in the window of the Orangery of some guests, spooky but fun.
